i bough my F4I with badly bent forks. I bought another set and when I slide them in the bottom triple clamp they both hit a little high of the holes for the top triple clamp. Does this mean my triple tree is bent and needs to be replaced? The picture shows where the new fork tubes are coming up after I pushed them through the bottom triple clamp.

Lower clamp might not be aligned perfectly with the top one?

 

They definitely aren't lining up. Does that mean the tree is bent?

 

I WOULD THINK YEAH. THEY SHOULD SLIDE RIGHT THROUGH THE TOP AND BOTTOM. IF THEY DONT YOU HAVE A PROBLEM.
