Default My starter turns over even when the key is off!!!

Ok Im new here and this is my first post. About a month ago i bought an 06 F4i with a bad tyranny. I bought a used engine and did the swap myself. The bike was running great and i was riding everyday....then i made the dumb mistake of letting my roommate take it to the gas station after he swore he knew how to ride...well he laid it down at 10-15 mph. The worste part is after he and the bike landed in the ditch the bike laid on its side(opposite the exhaust) running for a few minutes before he killed it. I obviously need a new bank angle sensor....anyway, there was oil all the way up in the air box when he got it back the the house. As far as i can tell besides a mirror and some scratches the battery seem to be the only thing that was shot. today i bought a new battery and for some reason the moment i connect both terminals the bike starts to turn over. I really can't figure it out. Even when the key is turned off and not even in the ignition the starter still continues to turn over. Id appreciate any help!!

Under the seat, by the battery. It will have 2 large wires going to it.

Ok I really appreciate the response and Demon you were spot on with the starter relay....however now that its fixed I've ran into another freakin problem....she wont start or if she does idles very low and with ANY amount of gas no matter how slow or fast given makes the bike die instantly!! This is all so irritating because everything was ok before and even the day after my roommate laid her down. I rode to Wally world the next day after the Fup and she seemed to run "ok" for the most part....at first a lot of smoke and seem to slug a couple of times for a split second. Then I change the battery and ride her a few miles down the road and she dies a mile from home. I didnt have the battery connected on the ride home due to the starter relay being stuck and that thats fixed she just wont crank up and run...any ideas on that??? Remember the bike ran on its side for a few minutes....not sure if all the oil getting to the top half of the engine has anything to due with this but it would make since. Thanks I will probably make a new post on this.
