MotoGP conversion
Hey all-
Can someone post a "How To" on converting their CBR to MotoGP shifting?
If its already been done- whats the link to it
People have said "well, just shift the linkage around". And Im sure its that easy...but I have no idea what that even means...thus making it impossible!!
Thanks!

im assuming you want to go 1 up and 5 down,if thats the case see if your shift lever will fit the shift shaft,if it does,just turn it around to point backwards and you`re done,if not,find one that will fit and do the same thing.
It's like this...
Let's identify some parts;
You got a grooved shaft protruding the side of the engine that connects to a rod, that connects to your shifter lever.
Where the grooved shaft comes out of the engine and connects to the shifter rod... you see that? There is a knuckle (?) there with a 10mm bolt. Notice that knuckle is either facing in a 12 o'clock position or a 6 o'clock position - ALL YOURE GOING TO DO IS REVERSE IT FROM WHAT IT IS WHEN YOU STARTED. To get it off, you'll need some smaller wrenches for the linkage and the adjustment bolts on there - you'll need to remove those.
When you get down there print this off and read it over a few times... it'll sink in.
I did it to my F3 and love it. Now the girlfriend rides it and she likes it too.

It takes aftermarket parts to get it done... and that's sad.
