Default Motion Pro SynchroMate 2

I have already taken the carbs apart and had to clean out the jets and I replaced all the o-rings except for the needle valve bladder. This got me to the point of getting the bike to start, but it still takes me about 10 minutes cranking to get it started when it's cold. I'm hoping tuning up the engine will remedy that situation. As such, I'll be checking the valve gaps, synching the carbs and adjusting the idle set screws. For this I need a synchronizer and a tach that has increments of 50 RPM. Motion Pro's Sycnromate 2 is a synchronizer with a built in tach. Does anyone have any experience using this product to tune their bike?
