Can anyone out there with Mivv exhaust help me??

I've recently bought a Mivv Suono Carbon Exhaust for my 600 RR-7 and am having major bother trying to get the db killer out. Looking at the mivv website it would seem its screwed in but for the life of me I can't find where from. Also looking inside the exhaust it looks like its held in place with a rubber ring.
