It sounds like you've made up your mind, but...

There's a lot of CRG-type mirrors made for bicycle bar ends. I've got one on mine that works okay at slow speeds, but they vibrate too much when you get truckin. Plus your arm's in the way all of the time anyway.

For Susan's post to widen them out further, I've seen some advertised like these. It sounds like she made something closer to the first one.

Looking back at my description, I can see why you'd think that, but it's more like a 3/8" thick oval washer between my mirror base which is oval and held on by two bolts and the fairing.

It said it uploaded my picture this time....if it did, the reflection shows it as almost white, but it's really a dark gray.
