Anyone running these tires in cooler weather? What are your opinions?
I personally dont like them as much as my old BTO14's.
Anyone else have any negitive feed back on these tires?

they warm up fast...but my friend's riding buddy claims that they get slippery when it's really hot out...at at the BFE tracks in socal...but otherwise i haven't heard anything bad about them...
if you're worried, bust the dunlop qualifiers mang!

Slippery when hot, eh? Hmmmmmmm ... is that on the street or track? So far I'm getting great wear and super grip on the street from the Pilot Powers. So far the worst tire I've had on the 1kRR is the stock Diablo Corsas -- and they were very capable. After that the BT-012SS -- extremely lean-worthy and lasted a long time -- great feel. And now the Pilot Powers -- best of the bunch so far.

Can't bring myself to buy dunlops again -- got a set of 207's when they came out years ago. All I can say is that from my experience dunlop street tires suck -- unless you just like the rear end stepping out at odd times (well, most of the time). I know they kick butt with their track tires so all I can figure is the compounds are nothing alike.

I run the Pilot Powers and they are great, no problems with them slipping out ever, good traction through turns, never feel like the bike is going to kick out or let go. I dont know who you talked to about them being slippery after they warm up, mine are sticky after they warm up haha

The tire's aren't bad in the cold. Don't grab like the do when it's above 60 out, but I've never had it slide on me. What type of mileage have you guys been getting out of yours, mine are in the wear bar, and desperately need to be replaced? Overall I'm happy with them year round, and I'll be ordering a new Pilot for my rear shortly.

207s isn't so hot and you put that on a 1krr? damn mang!!!

i rode with it on a firebolt...it did fine as long as i was smooth and not all hardcore.

corsas no good? hopefully it's cause of a bad tire or bad batch.

as far as PP getting all slippery, yea it's on a track and in crazy 100 plus weather mang...
