Default Mechanical Safety of Wheelying?

So I parked my 93 900RR after a short ride home from class, on which I did one soaring wheelie(closest I've ever been to balance point I think), and a lower but sustained wheelie at about nine'o'clock or so. I happened to notice a pink puddle dripping from around the headers. I looked through the vent in the fairing, and it looked like it was coming from one of the hoses, and not the radiator itself.
Is it dangerous to anything mechanical other than forks, fork seals, or rims to do high wheelies with hard landings?

Thanks

you use high octane? sounds like it was gas coming out of the hose.

as far as mechanical safety...i know prolonged wheelies and lots of them does eventually wear out the engine and sometimes prevents oil from getting into the cyclinder(s).

add a quart of oil and you'll be ok for long wheelies. i'm running 5 in my 900 and haven't had any problems.

suduki's are known for blowing engines when doing long wheelies, if they don't have an oil pickup.

Long/high wheelies can cause oil starvation, and on 900's sometime overflow oil out of the crank breather. Some of the guys that used to do 900 conversions to F2's/F3's would route a small catch bottle under the seat then back the the oil fill on the right.

Overflow drain most likely. When you do wheelies and you have a full or semi-full gas tank, gas will go in the gas overflow drain and exit out of the bike. Bikes weren't designed to do wheelies but they can do it.

yeah, lik eany superbike manufacturer doesnt think that we use their beautiful machine for lol

but on the subject it does sound like oil. just check your oil view window and see if youre low. if you are overfill it if you intend to do more wheelies.
