Default Maintenance Overhaul

I am a noob so be patient... I can't get the search function to work.

So, I just bought a 2002 F4i with 11k on it. I have no idea what the guy did for maintenance so I want to do a complete maintenance overhaul on the bike, just to be careful.

What shouldI do? How long will it take? Should I get all the parts and fluids from a Honda shop? Cost?

I don't have much money left, but should I get an overall tune-up? How much $?

Thanks for all the help...

does it run good?

if you're that worried about it, why not just ASK the PO (if you can)... it's not like they have cooties now that you bought the bike from them...

if it is running okay just change the oil and clean and lube the chain.

other things to think of:
graphite the locks
flush the brake fluid
visually inspect the forks for oil
tighten all 8mm bolts on the tree
check the thickness of the brake pads
change the plugs
inspect tires thoroughly

you may want to toss some cable lube down the throttle cables and the clutch cables too. those are often over looked in maintenance (even by the shops)...
