Default Low RPM misfire

Hey all... I have a 94 F2 that I picked up last December. I have a bit of an odd issue that I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. 2 times that I've been caught in rain and the bike gets wet it develops this misfire between 2000-3250rpm.Power seems to smooth out above that range, but I swear I can still hear the burbling/misfire through the exhaust. First time this happened I let the bike sit abit after checking wires/coils/drying them out and reseating all the connections... No change, still misfired. The wires were a bit old and showed some track marks so I replaced the plugs and wires... Using Nology Hot Wires and Denso iridium plugs. Bike ran GREAT. Got caught in rain again... Same problem again. I've checked the same things again with no failure found. Any ideas? Ignition pulse generator/rotor? Thanks for your thoughts...

I have this problem too with the same bike, but its always there... at stop signs, low speed cruising, deceleration. It also seems to stop when I hammer on the gas. What should I try dong to it? Plugs/wires...?

Default RE: Low RPM misfire

Never had the prob with my CBR, but did with my Kwaka Z650, I had to change the plug caps, as water caused an electrical arc, which resulted in the misfire. Although the plugs had a rubber seal over the plugs, water ran down the leads and dripped past the seal, (where it fits over the leads) so a small amount of water would form on the top, where the cap met the plug & short out on the motor. Don't know if this would be same on your bikes, just a thought.
