heres whats going on, i have a slight misfire in 2 and 3 coils are good plugs are good they where changed twice. compresion is 150 across the board. the plugs in these 2 cylinders are black and smell like gas . the miss gets worst after the bike warms up and get real bad after 200 on the oil temp. its only at idle and till like 4 grand than it goes away . i am lost. any help would be nice .

 

I had the same symptoms ( 1plug only) along with an erratic idle, some smell of gas and slightly higher fuel consuption. My oil level was also high and smelled of gas.

In higher revs, it was all good.

It turned out to be the FPR.

Check your oil level and see if it smells of gas. If 2 of your plugs are wet, I bet there's gas in there too.

You could try to diagnose the FPR, but mine checked good when trying all known methods, so I thought it was ok. It was not

 

Fuel Pressure Regulator! had the same problem on mine!

 

thanks for the imput i got a new one a while back so i will swap it out inthe am and keep you guys posted on what happends thanks a bunch and yes i get like 120 to a tank on the high way doing about 75 in 6th..
