Hey guys..

I have an 02 f4i and i noticed that the brake lights stopped lighting up. They barely get any brighter when i press the brake, like it's hard to notice even when the bike is in a dark garage..

but anyway i have no idea what integrated tail is on the bike because i bought it like that.. it's winter here so i haven't really worked on the bike with me being in school, but i'm about to repaint it and i need to work on the taillight, other than rewiring it because it was shoddily put together, do you have any suggestions of where to turn first or something to fix the problem?

P.s. I know it's not like it's lit up and the brake is engaged the whole time..
