Default layed her down :( ouchie.

Not a big deal, i low sided in a turn going prolly 20 mph...

I bought the biked used and the previous owners layed it down also. It had quite a few scratches before hand. I am okay, just a little road rash on my knee. I was wearing my jacket and helmet, tennis shoes and jeans. The bike started fine, everything seems okay except:

1 .When i first took off after the crash, it billowed smoke outta the exhast.
2.When i got home, there was a thing film over the stator cover... There were no signs of leaking after the crash except when the bike was down for a second a small puddle of something or other was left. It hasn't leaked anything else yet.
3. I'm kind of paranoid, I'm wondering if anything is messed up...everything seems to run fine.

my question you guys think my bike is okay? Any of these common? I figured if the spot was left and its not leaking now the spot was probably from over flow of somesort.

Thanks in advance.
Rob

Couple questions though.

Alright, your first bike, you've had it for 2 months, and down it goes. People still wonder why the F4i isn't considered a starter bike....

Anyway, glad you're ok, definately invest in some boots though, if your foot had gotten cought it would have twisted right through your tennis shoe.

That's the spirit though, patch the bike up and get right back out there
While you're waiting for bumps and bruises to heal a bit, pop your plastics off and wipe everything down, let it sit for a while and come back see if theres anything leaking/dripping.
