can anyone steer me in the right direction...have a 98 900rr...at very low idle it will make a knocking sound...No its not a rod..i have thrown rods before and this is different...it only happens at low idle..if i idle the bike at 1200 or 1300 the sound pretty much goes away...also i can run it at low...as low as 7 or 800 and will knock bad until i hit the clutch..then all is good...release the clutch and the knock is back...also..when the bike is running hotter....170 or better the knock is very faint...nowhere near as bad as when u first crank it up and is ice cold...and again...hot or cold...all goes away when i hit the clutch...not even a peep from it....u would never know something is wrong as long as u hold the clutch or don't let the idle drop below 1200...could really use some help here guys...no slack in my clutch lever...clutch feels good....no slipping or anything like that....thanks for any help
