Default jumpy throttle and FI coming on randomly??

Hey yall, just like the title says! Never had this issue before, 03 f4i 64xx on the clock. Basically i was riding and noticed while i was keeping throttle steady, the bike would sorta "lurch" forward randomly, almost like on my old cbr when the stator was going out. Now it was extremely windy today, so seeing as i ride almost everyday and have never had this happen, and it was really windy, i just chalked it up to it being the wind.

However, about 10 miles down the road, on the highway now, it happened again, only this time the FI light came on and i lost some power to the bike. After about 2 secs light went away and power came back, but was still jumpy. This happened about 3 more times before i finally made it to work (20 mile ride) and mostly happened when i would hit that bump where highway switched road type.

Idk if this is relevant or not, but ive also been hearing what sounds like a "squeaking" sound near the front of the bike, only happens after ive been riding for a bit, and only stays while it low rpms and on throttle. If i pull clutch in, it stops.

Sorry for long post, i gotta ride home tonight so kinda sketched out right now lol. Any help is appreciated, thanks!!!

The FPR on these things go out all the time, it's a pretty common issue but I doubt it has anything to do with the FI light coming on/off. That's most likely going to be a completely separate issue.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah have a buddy that is gonna look at her with me this weekend, hopefully nothing too serious. The fi light seemed to only come on when i hit a hard bump, wondering if something maybe has a connection issue?

Sometimes we assume it's something much more complicated than it actually is lol... Bike didnt start for my ride home, so my boss jumped me and while doing so we noticed my battery connectors were loose as f*ck(talkin 3-4 socket wrench turns a piece) and sure enough, fired up and idled fine, rode the 20 miles back home with no issues whatsoever! Random loss in power can be explained by that, and my fi light coming on during big bumps as that prolly almost/tried to reset the ecu or whatever. Im no expert so those are just assumptions, but she rode perfect on the way home so it would make sense
