I've looked into these speedohealers before but found it to be a waste of money. Just wondering why you guys are so concerned with making sure your speedometer is 100% correct. I'm -1 in the front and it still doesn't bother me that my speed may be off. Call me a squid, but I rarely do the speed limit to begin with, and if I'm concerned about my speed I just match the cars around me.

I can't say for a fact that the 1000RR is this way but some bike's ECUs use the speedo info to calculate fuel flow. If that's the case then showing 10% or more happy could cause me to not run right. I also like to know how fast I enter and exit certain curves. As my bike sits now I have to do way too much calculating to figure out how fast I'm going.

There are some well known speed traps in my area and I like to know I'm within the limit. Plus, it just seems cheesy to have a nice bike and have the speedo so rediculously off that it is of no use. The major factor is while your speedo is reading 10% too high, your odometer is doing the same thing, in essence accumulating more miles on the clock than your bike really has, speeding up the depreciation of your bike's re-sale value.

Also, since we are the US importer/distributor for Speedo Healer and now a CBR Forum advertiser, members get these from us with free shipping. And if you let us know you're a member when emailing/PM'ing/calling for prices on stuff, we always do what we can do take care of you, from a little (where margins are thinner) to a lot.

This wouldn't be an issue. it only effect the output to the speedo, not how the actual sensor reads. If anything does read off that senor for fuel flow, or flux capacitor regulation....they would pull the reading before the box alters the signal.

Does it alter the electrical output to the muffler bearings?
