it's just the rear...you can do without.

I honestly think that the SS lines are WORSE than the stock ones. I feel I have less braking power. They do look cooler though being blue! =)
Maybe you had an air bubble in the lines?

Sounds like you may have had low fluid in the reservoir, requiring you to "pump" the brakes. If the reservoir is that low, then now you probably have air in the line too, requiring a bleeding. My rec? Drain, flush, refill with new fluid, bleed, have brakes. If that doesn't work, think about a new master cylinder.

I swithced to Galfer SS lines and had to refill the front reservoir after like 2 weeks. I thought it was leaking but it has been ok since I refilled it, I guess. With my rear brake I had the same problem but I just left it. Now I can press the pedal all the way down and nothing happens. The fluid is full but I never use the rear anyway. Who knows, whatever. /shrug

I feel like I so totally thread jacked this. lol No I haven't drank since I think I got yelled at by some admins on here. hahaha I used to drink a lot then I quit then I started again and now I quit, hopefully for good. Well see how much my life sucks in the future and Mr Vodka may come and join me again. heh Anyway, yes I'm almost positive I bled the brakes correctly. It took a long freaking time to do and I put rubber bands on them over night and all. The season is just about over in WI here so next spring I'll redo the front and rear brakes again with like 5 bottle of fluid. Mayhe the rear will actually work again then.
