Yup, I did it. Its a Yoshimura Full Exhaust.

Did not install jet kit, yet. The bike seems to run fine without rejetting. I did notice performance increase, bike excellerates a lot quicker, nicer sound especially at low rpm (parking lot speed).

Seems the only downside is a bit of a hesitation when twisting the throttle and to me it seems higher rpm's (85mph @ 6500 RPM, 95mph @ 7500 RPM -- 6th gear) , and some odor (the kind that stings your eyes a little)

If it eint broke dont fix it? Not installing jet kit hurt the engine after a while? Olso, will aftermarket exhaust effect emissions, i have to register bike soon, need emissions test. Will i pass it with full exhaust?

sounds like you're running lean.
you should do a jet kit to match though.
if you spent the bling on a f/s, don't stop and say it's running fine...you want to optimize your investment so do the jet kit.

 

I agree with tahoe.

You dont spend your money on something for performance and not get the best out of it. Do the jets.

First bike, i'm kinda nervos what if i fall off while i test it. Do i sit on it and run the bike or do the folks at the DMV do it. It be hillarious if i just foll off the wheel thingie. I'd feel like such a dousch.
