i just got done installing my frame sliders via the laser method and were pretty much spot on....my question is this....(by the way this is for guys who had to cut their fairings)
although they are extremely close, i found that the fairings take a little more oompf to get them buttoned up...which in my mind makes sense seeing as you now have a huge hole that essentially places and fixes the movement of the entire fairing....although it looks perfect, man it takes some muscle to get the holes lined up.....
like i said, in my mind it makes sense since the flex and give that was present before is now somewhat limited...
did this happen to you when you installed your sliders, or was i just off a hair which is leading to this and you guys were dead on...[&:]

well see that's the thing though...lol...some of the holes are DEAD ON...while some are slightly off...it's funny...i have ZERO tolerance on the slider though so that might be part of the problem too....like i said, it's not horrible, but it's not as easy as it used to be, i used to be able to do it with my eyes closed, now i have to line up the hole before i put the screw in...
ehhh...whatever, looks perfect when you look at it....
