Default Indicators and head lights out?

I recently installed a xenon kit on my 06 f4i and about a week later (after a new battery as well) the turn signals suddenly stopped working entirely and, soon after, the head lights went out completely as well. Any ideas? My best guess is that they're taking too much power from the battery...any help is appreciated!

May be a dumb question, but have you checked the fuses and/or the connections for the signals and headlight? Also, do you have the correct battery? I am not familiar with any of the Xenon kits, so I am unable to provide any input there.

The fuse keeps blowing but I can't find any shorts in the circuitry...could be something underneath the fairings :S hopefully it's just sitting there and I'm blind!

Found it underneath the front fairings...ballasts were crowding the wires and apparently two were unsheathed and touching so that's what kept shorting the circuitry. Pliers and electrical tape solved the problem.
