Default Ignition Switch

I'm waving the white flag. I give up. Like I said in my intro, I'm new to all this. So I have a 1991 Honda CBR 600F2. The ignition cable is just dangling there, not connected to anything. For the life of me, I can't find any female connector for it. I have attached a pic. Please help. Thank you.

Ok first question I'll ask.............are you sure that's the correct ignition switch/wiring?

A quick search found this

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CBR...-/401473455232

Check the fleabay link - it looks different to the one you have and has a three pin connector (above)

Cheers, SB

Very interesting. It didn't even cross my mind but now that you mention it, I think the guy did sell me the bike with the wrong ignition. Nonetheless, where would it even connect to? I'm going to order the right one now to see what happens.

FWIW, I have a spare OEM ignition switch for an F2, and the connector looks just like the pic posted by Sebastionbear.

Really? Even if I got it, I wouldn't know where to connect it to. There's No other female connector. Let me know how much you want for it. Thank you.

That's be my first guess, but I'm willing to defer to all the CBR600 F2 owners on the forum.
