I think that i may have fried it today wiring my spy5000m alarm/starter...

Testing the relay operation itself is very simple ... is that what you're asking ?? ...

All you need is two pieces of wire and a voltmeter man .... rather than sit here and try to explain it ... here's a diagram ... in case you don't know where it is or how to get to it, it's right behind the tank under the tank bracket and ECU cover ...
