How do you jump the fuel pump relay on a 2004 f4i?
Nevermind the above question the fuel pump works...I got to the point where my front turn signals would't work at all, my rear left worked fine, and the rear right was stuck on solid all the time...my high beams wouldn't shut off either and every time i hit the starter button my fuel pump would prime.
I found a broken wire and a bad fuse(starter fuse) and fixed both....now my headlights won't come on at all but my high beam switch works...my rear turn signals are both on constantly when the key is on, and my fronts don't work at all...my starter button will crank the engine but my fuel pump won't prime at all now.
I checked the fuel pump relay, engine stop relay, kickstand safety switch, clutch safety switch, and killswitch...all are fine.
What else could be causing my fuel pump to not prime? I'm guessing the ignition or the ecu...any other ideas?
Thanks ahead of time.

You have a short in your wiring harness somewhere. Some of those things you mention have nothing to do with eachother except for the fact that some of the wires run next to eachother in the harness. Something sounds like it shorting to ground. For instance, your turn signals are a simple example, they have a ground, and a switched hot wire. When the turn signal switch is engaged it provides power to the hot (the switches power is provided by the blinker unit). You then have a ground on one side, a hot on the other and the light lights up. That is literally the extent of the blinker circuit. If your working on anything else at all and it's affecting your blinkers then you my friend, have some wires shorting out together. Chances are it's likely the ground wires shorting with some hots, due to the fact that nearly everything ont he bike shares a common ground. Also, have you installed aftermarket blinkers or anything before you started having these issues? Often you can trace your problems back to a recent change or mod or something. It's hard to properly guesstimate your problem without more background info.
