First things first... remove the stock signals. Probably only in with a couple of screws (im not completely sure with your bike but most are very similar). Then, find the connection in the wire and unhook it. DO NOT CUT THE WIRES; I've done this twice before I learned how much of a pain in the *** it is haha. Just follow the wire back, there will be a connector.
Now, depending on what kind of signal it is it will be a little different. If you have your basic aftermarket signal, it'll just cover the hole and most likely stick on to your fairing. If its a really good signal it will actually bolt in just like the oem one did. If the wires aren't the same color you'll have to figure out which wire connects to which, if they are just plug them in and make sure they work.
Thats about it, it's pretty simple, just be careful of chipped paint and all that fun stuff
