Default how do i remove deadspace in throttle?

hey guys i have a little bit of deadspace in my throttle, so it rotates about 1/15th of a turn before she starts to rev it gets quite annoying jw if anyone knows how i can get rid of this.

Adjustment to the throttle cable sounds like.

A ha! according to my haynes manual, there should be between 2-6mm of freeplay at the throttle grip
