how do i install a fender eliminator
i recently purchased a fender eliminator kit for my 2006 cbr 600rr. i cannot wait to install but am not sure where to start. do i need to remove the rear seat what tools do i need. has anyone done this and kept stock exhaust how does it look. [sm=smiley24.gif]
what kind of fender kit did you get? just curious.
anyway it's pretty simple. you'll need to remove the seats and tail section. once that's off remove the stock fender. i've got the comp werkes kit and kept the stock exhaust. the tail section will feel like it's going to crack when you try to remove it. lots of people on here will tell you that
just take your time and it'll come off fine. that was the hardest part for me.

just metric wrenches/hex wrenches...
here is a link to download the service manual for your bike (or at least an 03-04 600RR)...all the things you will be doing are exactly the same on this year....haven't found one for 05-06 online yet
Service Manual
totally easy mod...YOU CAN DO IT

Post or PM if you run into problems, the tail is easy to take off, but you do have to pull the sides out a little to make it clear the frame. I'm installing my Competition Werks kit and Two Brothers slip on later today.
