how to install fender eliminator

Default how to install fender eliminator

I recently bought a 2002 cbr f4i and I am going to buy a fender eliminator kick. how does it work? do i have to cut or adjust my tail at all and will i lose my key access to the storage compartment. Tell me everything you know, THANKS!!!

You can do this in several ways. I'd suggest you figure out what you want to accomplish before you buy a kit. No sense throwing money away. Depending on your skill level you can do anything from building your own $10 undertail (see the 2 or 3 recent threads in this forum) to buying a prefabbed undertail with integrated lights and L-brackets for the plate.

I just want to make it flush and tuck the liscence plate lower down by the tire. I have a brake light that integrates the turn signals too so thats not a problem. Is it just an easy fab'ed metal plate that goes underneath? and how would I still lock my storage compartment once that ugly original fender is gone?
