Be careful and make sure you have the right connector on , you dont want to cross thread the spark plug thread, they only have to be run up ,not over tight, check them against the thread on your spark plug ,did you have all plugs out when you tried it

Yes all plugs were out all the thread fits fine i buy when trying to screw in with the line attached it just spins and doesn't go all the way in. *if you know what i mean?
Will the compression test be effected not having the carbs on also exhaust manifolds.. all cylinders are the same psi so I'm guessing because i cannot screw the tester all the way I'm getting false readings.

Try again screw it in as far as it will let you, but when you do the test keep your starter depressed for about 5 secs dont take your finger off

Yes tried that and still the same psi.

I'm going to put the bike back together tomorrow and warm her up for 15-20 mins and try again.
All need to find away to stop stradder valve that goes into the plug holes to stop spinning so I can sest the threads

Yes their all pretty generic,.is the schrader joint going into the gauge tight
