Default HID Question

I am wanting to buy a set of HID lights but I wanted to know if the 10000 HID's are as bright or are they brighter than the stock bulbs that came on my 06 600rr. I wanting the blue lights so that why I want the 10000 HID's but I don't want to be riding around without much light on the road, I like for the road to be bright as possible. Thanks.

Do a search, there are plenty of posts on this subject. From what I recall, the 10000K should be pretty bright. However, if you want to get better visibility in the evening, you should go for a 8000K kit or lower. I personally have the 8000K kit, which has a nice blue color while providing a good amount of light for visibility.

An HID system is the brightest you can get, regardless of what color temperature the bulbs are. Yes, the 5000k's are going to be brighter than the 10000k's, but even then, the 10k's will still be significantly brighter than stock bulbs. If it were only a color thing, I would have never bought them. I wanted increased visibility at night, so that's why I went with HID's.

Ya I have a 01 F4I, I did the HID conversion and I will never go back to stock or my old PIAA's. HID's are by far the best for lighting up the whole road. Not only do they brighten up the road a lot further down the road but they brighten up to your direct sides. I have ppl flash there brights at me when just my normal headlights are on. I bright them back and I'm sure blind em' for there mistake. (not that i'm a dick, I just let em know there not my brights, my brights are much brighter) I mounted mine under my side fairings, there is barely enough room there to fit em in. I used some 3m double sided tape to sick em to the frame and they haven't moved since. I think I have the 6000's. I got the white color, although they do have a bit of a blue tint to em. If you get the blue color they will not b noticeable if there is any fog or rain. just so you know. I highly recommend getting HID's!!!
