Default HID or LED?

I recently just got 6k halogen bulbs recently, and they just don’t seem that bright. Is it better to upgrade to led or hid? My old bike had hid, but I can’t find any thing good about led’s on YouTube. One guy couldn’t get the spring to hold the bulb in place. And that’s the only video I found for my bikes year. Thanks in advance

One thing I keep wishing to see from you guys though, is a dual filament application such as 9003. In my experience, managing the power and beam pattern change between low and high beams, is a point where conversion kits tend to struggle. LED and HID alike.

might be power problem. Measure voltage at bulb socket with everything running.

Also you got crap bulb with filter layer that blocks most of light to give it the blue colour. Only get top-quality bulbs from Philips, Narva, Toshiba, Vosla, Flösser, etc. Number you want to look at is lumens output, not colour-temp. Over half of lumens are filtered out to make that 6000k look. Your eyes are most sensitive to colour of the SUN, look up what colour temp that is and get bulbs that looks like the SUN

I only buy bulbs from Daniel Stern

Read up lighting tech and follow all links

This is what you get when buying top-quality bulbs
