ok so when the head gasket is bad, that mean the engine is overheating or could be some other reason like a crash or something ? i never noticed the engine running hot, like 220 tops before the fan kicked in.

What I would suggest doing is go get a compression tester. its basically a pressure gauge with threads for a sparkplug. Check out all your cylinders and see if any are low.

If you do indeed have a blown head gasket, its possible that the water could jsut be entering the combustion chamber, and NOT mix with the oil. You would deffinatly notice a drop in the coolant levels however. I would also think you would notice some air entering to coolant though. When you take the rad cap off, does the coolant bubble? I would mark where the coolant is, then check it again later and see if its lower. The coolant will be higher when its hot vs cold though, so be aware of that.

White smoke does mean that water is being combusted. The trick is to find out why.
BE WARNED!! A blown headgasket isnt too bad to fix, and can cause more problems if you leave it go!

theres no drop in coolant level and no bubbles on radiator. i was reading about the o rings from the water pump when they fail the water can get through the system, is t true? im going to check the water pump before going more deeply into the engine.

Our bikes naturally run that hot.
