ya i jus bought my baby 2001 f41 but the guy who put the ne tail on didnt fit a trunk release i jus pull a wire wut is suposed to be there

 

Im guessing the wire your pulling is the one that is supposed to run to the lock that should be there. Generally speaking they are keyed the same as your ignition. The guy probably never got around to installing it?

 

I had a problem last year with my seat latch too. If you go into the dealership they can hook you up with a new lock and everything for it. I had to custom cut a hole for mine and its still kind of a pain in the ars to get open sometimes.
