Rather than rain getting in, it sounds to me more like a blown head gasket. Although the same sort of crud in the carbs?. You have to block under the engine so you can undo retaining bolts & cables. Get a copy of the workshop manual (do a search on the site) which will make it a lot easier in do the work & identifying parts. Good luck.

i thought about the blown headgasket too but the radiator is full the crud in the carb looks like rust could it have been crud that came out of the crud filled tank?i know the bike was out in the rain here at my house but it ran last time i tryed to start it oh i also had a different tank on it from a lawnmower cause of the crud filled tank and i have a floor jack under the motor i dont have any kind of bike lift and it is on the center stand btw i have never seen oil turn grey with water in it and i checked the oil when i first got it and after i ran it and the oil was fine i cant say i checked it after the last time i ran it caus ei dont remember and i didnt ever ride it i just had it on the kickstand and revved it up some i dont know ima take the engine out of the bike and yank the head off of it and check it
