Default HELP...SERIOUSLY....HELP!

OKAY... to anyone who knows there f4i ****... help me please.

I dumped my 2001 F4I 600 and shattered the stator cover, stator and flywheel. i replaced all those myself ...bolted everything up tight...filled it back up with oil PRAYING it would start... but all it does is crank over... sounds like everything is sound internal.... but wont start. MY GUESS is that im not getting fuel. Obviously its fuel injected. One thing i noticed is that when i turn my key on i DONT hear the little wined that the bike used to make ... i think thats the sound of the fuel pump being turned on????? ... i know my gauges are mest up because my rpm gauge is stuck at 4,000 rpm (thats when my bike flipped and shut off) ... and my digital mph display is blank.

ANY clue whats going on?

message or email me at mac_z_28@hotmail.com

sounds like maybe the bank angle sensor, either unplugged or damaged
could be wrong but that would be my first guess
that sound is the fuel pump so that means either its not getting power from the ignition switch or a sensor is tripped
also this may not be worth mentioning but make sure the fuel pump is still plugged into the wiring harness

The bank angle sensor would be my first guess also, but make sure to check all your fuses. Hard jolts like that are rough on the electrical system.

If you had to take the front of the bike apart you possibly put the bank angle sensor on upside down. We did that on my brothers RR after he dumped it. Sounds like a stupid thing but it's easy to do.

On your bike, it's behind the wind screen and it's purpose is to shut the bike off if/when you wreck or drop it.

Here's the link to you manual and it's on page 5-83

Try and find someone with a "code reader". if you plug it into the diagnostic socket it should throw up some codes for you to work with to find out what sensors or components are playing up
