when the bike first starts, it goes into an enrichened mode, (basically a choked state) This causes the bike to idle high until its warmed up, then the idle will drop to normal once its warmed up. It should be around 1200 rpms or so.

If its lower than that, just turn the idle speed adjuster clockwise while the bike is running and increase your rpms. Only do this once the bike warmed up though. the idle adjuster is the black **** that is located on the right hand side of your bike.

Ok got a light in to see what the deal was. Someone had backed the idol screw almost all the way out. I could see that the spring was getting smaller more compressed as I turned it counter clockwise. So I closed all the way. Started the bike and it was idoling around 3 grand. It was allready up to temp from me trying to get the problem nailed so I adjusted it down to 1200 rpm. Viola! I got her on the road again! Just have to put the plastics back on her and she's ready to Rock! Supposed to be in the 70s here in the Northwest for the first time since last year! Just in time :-) Thanks for all the help. I learned a lot from this repair job. On a side note the plugs ran me 90.00 dollars! Dam!!!
