Post help plzzz

so i was looking at craigslist and there is a guy that wants to trade a 99gsxr 750 for a 450 dirtbike. i have a 03 crf 450 so i asked him and he wants to trade me. the low bb on the gsxr is 3000. the high bb on my 450 is 2000. you guys think its a good deal.

Id say its a decent deal. Sportbikes will hold their value alot longer than any dirtbike. If you dont want a dirtbike and would rather have a streetbike, then its a perfect trade for you. Of course, it all depends on the condition of the gsxr. Pictures look decent, but you wont know for sure until you actually drive the bike. But if its decent, I'd put the gsxr worth around 3500 to 4000

Also, a 750 is nice bike. It has great power, but isnt overwhelming.

I would just be careful cause it almost sounds too good to be true. If he could sell it for $3K and buy a 450 for $2K hes making a grand off it and it hes trades hes losing a grand. Lets face it who wants to lose 1000 bucks. I would look the bike over with a magnifying glass. Listen for any knocks or pings in the motor. Make sure everything works well otherwise it can bite you in the butt in the long run.
