Default Help my 99 cbr will not start

Hello everyone

I just bought 99 cbr 600. The guy I bought it from told me all that needed to be done was the fuel pump needed to be changed. I replace the fuel pump in the bike still will not kick over. Any ideas or suggestions so I can get this bad boy running. Thanks in advance.

You'll need to start running down the list. You need three things for a bike to run, air, fuel, and spark. Check to see if you have spark at all four plugs. You can get a cheap tester from Auto Zone for under $10. If you have spark, check to see if you're getting fuel.
Quick question that might speed this up, how long was the bike sitting before you bought it. If it's been sitting longer then a year, you'll most likely need to clean the carbs.
