Default Help Me Choose a Tankpad

I want a tankpad for my silver/red F4...

Here is a pic:

Originally I was thinking of getting a transparent one, but I hear horror stories of them yellowing or dirt getting embedded in the edges..

A buddy recommended I do a silver one to match the tank and have it blend in while providing protection..

I found these two that I like.. which do you think would look better on my bike color combo?

Option 1:

Option 2:

Your opinions are welcome.. I like this style of pad, but if you can recommend something else, I'm all ears as well.

Thanks,
Adam

The silver one (2nd) might blend in better - but might also show everything you want to protect from, scratches etc more. The black will be more obvious, but might wear a little better.

Me? I'd probably go for the first...black one.

I just printed out full size images of each, cut them out and placed each on the tank... the second one definately looks better.

I'm going to hold off for a bit though... 20^ out again and for the near future.. maybe in another few weeks I might be able to have it stick! lol
