I'm now toying with the idea of trading in my 04 CBR 1000RR for a slick brand new 600cc super sport bike...I currently can't decide on which make to take.
Honda 07' 600RR??
Yamaha 07' 600 R6??
Suzuki 07' K7 600??

Gave up on my 04 1K, twice my stator coil burnt on me!! Had enuf...
I gotsome reviews here locally in Singapore that a stock 07' CBR 600RR can match a Suzuki K7 600 which is equipped with a full exhaust system and PCIII. Before this, I look highly to the K7 Suzuki..I believe power wise Suzuki can outclass Yamaha R6.

Any 07' CBR 600RR owner here would like to add in your reviews of your bike?? Or do u have any info on any of the bikes above..kindly share. I'mtrying to doalot of homework and research before I make a decision. Thx...

I don't have one, so I can't give you a personal review.... but.....

the 07 600rr get my blood flowin!! That is one sexy machine. And all the reviews that I have seen have been extremely positive. Plus it's a Honda. Of course that may not mean much to you since you got burned by the stator issue.

I had an 06 GSXR 600 (Same as 07), and I can tell you the Honda has way more power where you use it in the mid range. I like the little GSXR and it was a nice bike, but does not compare with the handling and power of the 07 CBR 600RR. I have not ridden the new Yammi, but I understand you have to really rev it to get it moving. I think they are all good bikes, I just think the Honda fits my riding style better.

I just read 2 magazines....the may issue of sport rider and the may issue of superbikemagazine. They both reviewed the 07 600cc shootout and both agreed the honda was the beston the street and on the track. If I had the luxury of choice that you have....I would walk straight over to the dealership for the new 07 cbr. Someday I will have the luxury!

 

Ive had the new CBR 600 RR for the past 3 weeks now and my mate has last years gsxr 600 ive ridden both and the cbr has so much more in the mid-range this year. get it past 7thou in 2nd and the thing takes off like a rocket the highest ive hit the revs on is 13thou and its goes 2 15thou.
so much fun in the bends 2 nice and nimble and the stearing dampner is nice in high speed bends

 

Yeah the new Honda 07' 600RR styling is much improved and the front air ram intake is trick!! The engine is also new..and able to rev up to 15K rpm. A friend of mine had juz hard break-in his friend's 600RR and the review is awesome..This friend of mine is a Asia-Pacific racer, his views counts!! So far in Singapore the CBR 600RR is doing great..not having any major problems as compared to their bigger sibling the 1KRR..Damn, the 1K keep on burning its stator out!!
The Yammi R6 looks trick..the best styling in my opinion! But, I had a few friends who own R6 and yes..the bike needs some high revving to get the bike moving! [:'(]
I do have a friend who owns a K7 600 but he crashed it on its 1st day out so I can't have his opinion.
Still to date..the Honda does not come with a slipper clutch like its rivals do..Dun noe if its a must on the new Honda 600RR engine.
I have the tendencies to switch to a different maker..since I juz came off from Honda, but I'm afraid that I'll make the wrong choice...
