Default help with idle problems

any of you guys ever changed out your idle control cable? (also called a throttle stop screw) it seems really straight forward. mine is all kinked and doesnt turn anymore....too much adjusting..... thanks

no, but mine rattles up to 2500-3000 once i start riding, but if i stop it then start it up, the idle is at 1200. so i think mine needs replacing too.

mine is missing, and has been since i got my bike 6 months ago. I'm about to order one. It looks like it just screws into the fast idle wax unit?? on the trottle body. If my local dealer has one in stock ill tell you how it goes tomorrow.
