Default Help: How to fix plastic piece?

Hi everyone,
I could use a little help. There is a piece on my F4i that I am hoping that I just put on wrong but it might be warped. I am not sure what the piece is called but it is the plastic piece (mat black in color) that runs from the front faring attaches to the side faring, and also attaches to the gas tank by rubber grommets. I can't get it aligned correctly so that the male part of the plastic will go into the female rubber grommet on the front of the gas tank. I would search for this but as you can tell by reading, I don't really know what the heck I am talking about. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Noob

i can only assume that you are talking about the black pieces that cover the air box ? if you could take a picture and show us exactly why they wont line up it would be more helpful... also i know its dumb but make sure you have the correct side piece (left left, right right )

It sounds like your talking about the air duct covers. Sometimes when I remove mine, I have a hard time getting it back in. It should just snap in. Go back, make sure everything is hooked in correctly. You may just have something out of whack and it's not able to snap in.
