i went for a short ride today with my buddy and my bike ran fine the whole time but when i was coming home i tried punching it and it wouldent let me go past 8k
i tried it in 1st gear and in 2nd the same thing happend the bike bogged down to 5 or 6k as if i let my hand off the throtle but i had the throtle open the whole time. a split second later the rmps would jump up again and back down. i dont know what the hell is wrong with it so any help would be gratly apriciated and its an 2002 f4i by the way.

first, check your battery connection to make sure it's ok...

did you just get fuel or anything?

 

dint get fuel but my reserve light came on during the ride. and i do need a new battery do you think that coul of caused it
