Help...dipstick fell into oil pan =( 06 CBR 600rr
I have a 2006 Honda CBR 600rr and i went to check the oil the other day and noticed my dipstick is gone. I assume it fell into the oil pan. I do not have a clue as to how to get it out easily. I bought one of those things that is like an antenna with a magnet on the end but that doesnt seem to work. The dipstick might be plastic i'm not really sure.
Also recently any time I really open up and the RPMs get over about 9,000 the engine just stalls itself out while I'm riding and the bike shuts off. I wonder if this has to do with the dipstick blocking oil flow to the engine. Any help would be much appreciated on either how to get the dipstick out and/or if you think the engine trouble I am having is due to the dipstick.

Im assuming your oil pan has a hole the oil goes into?? otherwise put a rubber cleaning glove you would find under the kitchen sink on, grab that fleshy place in between your legs and fish it out. if it is sealed pour the oil into another container say an empty water jug and get the dipstick out that way.

i wouldn't be riding the bike with a problem like that. if that half of the dip stick slides into the right spot it can cost u a motor. dropping the pan is your best bet. if you do get the dip stick out, dont just stick it back into the cap and use it again . it fell out for a reason and you dont want the same thing happening again. get a new one
