Default help with clutch lever

I have got some ebay knock of pazzo levers went to put them on and I can't get the clutch lever screw out I got the nut off the bottom and I losened the clutch cable all the way out, it is soaking in the second round of penetrating oil can anyone help me get this loose with out scarring the head of the screw anymore?

you could try takin a philips head screw driver or a nail punch and give the screw a few taps with that and a hammer on the bottom of the screw to try and break loose what ever is binding it up a screw driver would work better less chance of damaging the screw bottom, could also try tightening the screw more sometimes they will turn in just a little bit and may be enough to loosen whats holding it up and then it will back out, or else could always try using a mini torch like you would use on shrink tubing for wires and heat the bolt as much as possible without damaging the surrounding areas and try and back it out, hope any of this helps.

thanks, the heat sounds like a decent idea. I already pouned on it and turning it both ways heck lets heat her up I'll let you kno how it works

by the way nice stang, i had a 92 gt mystichrome paint tokico suspension subframe connectors 4.10 rear f cam twisted wedge heads and intake set, bbk short tubes into dumps and a vortech charger, i wish i never woulda sold it, i only put like 1000 miles on it in 2 years so decided let her go and payed off my daily driver and bought the new bike but man i miss it now lol

well that didn't work, I heated it up, beat on it and still nothing..... Anyone else have a thought?

Do you have an impact screw driver? If you back up the rear of the perch with a piece of wood or something, you should be able to hit it without damaging anything.

I've never removed levers on any bike, so this may be a really stupid question... but they aren't left hand thread are they?

when i changed my levers the screws were standard lefty loosy righty tighty

idk last option i would go with is drill it and get a new screw

well I'm taking it to a bike shop tomorrow see if theydo any better
