Thats was my exact question.

When I had rear pegs, thas what they were for.

'Course I no longer have them and perhaps neither does the OP?

Use something that connects to your D-rings.

If you hang it on the mirror or clip ons it can damage the interior lining of the helmet by compressing it a bit and could make the helmet less safe.

I suggest you pick up a helmet net like somebody said earlier.

thanks guys
yes the passanger foot rest works great but for some reason it doesnt want to keep the D ring on properly, so i need something that can close like a beaner.

of course i am also hanging it off the left side, i'm affraid that the right side would be too hot. and with the bike leaning and all, not a good combo.

Don't use the D ring, place the peg into the helmet and let the peg support the helmet by chin area. And yes, use the left side.
