Does the 2007 1000rr got underseat helmet lock or hook?
hi all,
i was wondering if the 2007 1000rr got underseat helmet lock or hook? because everytime i want to pull over and go in the mall or in anyplace i have to hold my helmet with me, and i want to meet up with my girlfriend and go for a ride and she lives away from me so i need to out the extra helmet in my bike and go to meet her but i cant see any lock or hook to put the helmet in any ideas?

it should have come with a cable that slides through the D rings of your helmets strap, then slides over the tab under the seat, when you put your seat on, it locks the cable to the bike.
If its not there, most dealer ships will sell helmet locks that are basically a piece of metal in the shape of a T with a hole in one end. the piece slides through the D-rings and you use a pad lock through the hole then around someplace on your bike.
I have in the past however, used the plastic tabs that hang down from the bottom of the seat. Slide the D-rings over that and then put the seat on. with the seat on, you can't get the helmet off. Just gotta be careful not to drop the helmet. I know this isnt what they are suppose to be used for, but they work.
