Ok, Last night I installed a Yosh RS-5 Slip On and a PCIII. So, today, I took it for a ride to see how it sounds and how everything feels. Well, I went about 20 miles and then stopped in at the local dealership to look at some parts, I was there about 15-20 minutes in total. So, I go to leave and I take off. I get about 5 miles and I try taking off from the stop light and I take off, get up to about 35, and the bike startes to sputter (the Warning light turns on and the rest of the dash cleared itself). So I lay off the throttle, everything goes back to normal, and I continue. Well, before the next light, I go to give it some gas to pass a blue hair and it does the same crap. So I get to the stoplight and turn the bike completely off until it turns green. Continue on my way and nothing else happens for probably the next 10 miles. Then right before I get home, it does the same crap!!!!!!!!! I dont know if I am losing oil pressure maybe? Possible and vaccum leak?? I checked the connections and the PCIII and everything is peachy. Could it be the map? Any help would be appreciated.

 

If the dash cleared itself then it's gotta be a wiring or connection problem. Check your battery terminal connection first, make sure it's not loose. You had to to connect the PC to the battery? I had a similar type problem and it was because one of my terminals was loose and everytime I had a bump it would short out.

 

Yeah, I checked those and they were tight, and everything would clear, except the warning light, so I dont know.
