Default is it hard to recover a seat

i have a 954 and my rear seat is scratched up pretty good...but foam is fine...i can get a nice cover for 20+shipping....is it hard to recover it myself?

D2M has a good writeup on making the seats feel betterand it includes how to rewrap them. I dont think it should be too hard, just prying off the staples and getting a staple gun to put the new cover on.

I,ve got a write up somewhere on doing my 02 F4i. Came out better than stock IMO. The trick for me
was to get a fabric that wasnt too thick. It will fold over the seat much nicer. Also I used a solvent based contact cement to fasten the edges under the seat. Been about a year now with no problems. Instead of bean bag material, it nowlooks likeplush leather.

my buddy did it on his front and pass seats....it wasn't hard whatsoever...just take your time...and you need that big staple gun!

I think you are talking about the one on eBay. I bought them and they were easy to install. In fact I installed it right on top of the stock cover. All you need is like thhey said a Big Staple Gun.
