quick question... on my 02 f4i i got on the brakes hard yesterday. and the front started hopping a little. is it possible the rotors are warped? also im in need of tires, the fronts pretty choppy, could that cause it to hop under hard braking? any feed back would be great.

Were you leaning forward or to the rear/sitting up straight? If you were more to the rear this can cause your front tire to skip under hard braking because theres not enought weight to hold it down. If you lean forward you will cause a stoppie under hard braking. Is there a chance you might of been sitting up straight and or more to the rear?

 

Whats bracking??? lol. No it sounds like the front tires were slipping. If your rotors were warped, you would move all over the place almost like you were wiggling around. hahahaha. I said wiggling----

 

yeah, i was sitting up, coming up on slower traffic. my tires still suck though, but my brakes look good!
