Default Good lowering link for 98 CBR900RR?

Hey guys,
So I think I want to get a lowering link for my bike for the Spring time. I dropped my bike at the end of the season because my foot slipped on sand at the end of a driveway.

I believe my bike sits higher than normal due to the VFR750 Rear single swing arm, and I just don't feel comfortable on the bike with my feet down. (I'm 6 foot, and I cant flatfoot both feet). My friends 08' Ninja 600 I can flatfoot fine, and have my knees bent .. and it's stock height.

So, I was just wondering if anyone can direct me the right way (to a website) with a good quality set. A few friends who are very short have lowered their GSXR's a good 2 inches.. and while those are way too low for me, I think I would like to lower my bike about 1.5 inches.

Thanks guys.

//on a side note, I think I'm going to practice on my fairings come Spring and try to repair them myself by learning how to fiberglass. If I mess up, oh well. I'll get it fixed the right way some day, but for now, I'm back into modding my GTO.

I won't be doing any work on it till next Spring. Far too cold out right now.

What exactly would that do? I'm a rookie when it comes to bike modifying.

Im looking at the Abba Superbike Stand.

Since I have the rear VFR750 Swing Arm .. would I need the fitting for the VFR750?

I know a couple people here have these for their 954RR. Even though I have a different swing arm, this would still work with my 900RR, yes?

Never seen that stand before but I like the way it looks. The way it lifts from the outside of the swingarm pivot bolt, Unless your frame was altered to make the VFR swingarm bolt up, I think you'll need the kit for your frame.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Me and my friend are probably going to go halves on one. We built our cars together, time to build our bikes.

Now I'm just wondering on my other question about that eBay auction, if that lowering "triangle" would work with my setup.

That would depend on how the 750 swingarm interfaces w/ the original link - or if something custom was already created for you.

Post a pic or too of your current linkage and we might be able to help more.

I'll take a picture tomorrow or Friday and post it up. I am thinking I am going to need a VFR750 setup, but, I'll let you guys tell me because I am clueless when it comes to motorcycle aftermarket parts.

EDIT:
I just took a video. You guys will probably know what you're looking at better than I do. I'll upload it probably tomorrow.

EDIT 2:
Here's the video...
